paper treat
It's kind of an oxymoron, but here is some super-cool wrapping paper designed by Turnstyle for Hemlock Printers. The packaging is nice and so is the paper.

illustrate this: Evan B. Harris
I love the illustrative work of Portland artist Evan B. Harris. His paintings are beautiful and sad and strange all at the same time.

granola is yum!
This is the delicious result of my first attempt at making granola. It's not very chunky but it is perfectly crispy. I included oats, pecans, sunflower seeds, flax, brown sugar, honey, dried cranberries, and sea salt.

archer hairline
I'm currently in typography class so I've been thinking about type a lot. According to an online quiz, my typeface is Archer Hairline but as you can see, it's hard to read online.

new job!
I am overjoyed to report that I finally found full time work! I'll be doing student services at MacPhail Center for Music in downtown Minneapolis in their lovely building near the river. This has been a long time coming and I'm quite relieved. Now I can move forward with my life and do more of the things I love, rather than stress over finding work. Yay for employment!

I'm a renegade
In just five weeks I'll be heading to Chicago for the Renegade Craft Fair (and to visit some good friends). I'm super excited to see some of my Etsy and blog crafting heroes in person.

Yes, please.
World's smallest interchangable lens camera, the Sony NEX-5 Alpha. It's teeny tiny but takes really good, SLR quality pics. Read about it here.

Sticks and Stones
I was at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum today for mother's day and got to see the progress
of the Patrick Dougherty installation. It's going to be amazing when it's done on May 22.
