We Like Each Other (Engagement Pics)

A couple weeks ago we spent the evening getting our picture taken by Alex's artist/photographer coworker, Bethany. I spent several weeks looking at pics on Pinterest and was able to figure out what I did not want: cheesy, unnatural, and generally lame. So we went for awesome. And darnit, I think we got there! The interior shots were taken at Moose and Sadie's and Space150.

More after the jump!

Island Time

Our short week on Sanibel Island was super relaxing. We had lots of sun, walks on the beach,
good rum drinks, and lived on "island time," which is where you do everything without
any urgency. People drive slow but it didn't bother me at all. Seriously, I'm going back next year.
Fun fact: Because of placement and shape, Sanibel is one of the few places
you can stand on the same beach and watch sunrise and sunset.

the muse

This is a beautiful photo of my friend, Emily, who is off exploring her roots in Belgrade, Serbia.
She's the perfect artist's muse (and an artist herself). Taken by Nikola Zecevic.

Yes, please.

World's smallest interchangable lens camera, the Sony NEX-5 Alpha. It's teeny tiny but takes really good, SLR quality pics. Read about it here.

desert star

I took a trip to Tuscon, AZ in March. The weather was amazing. I won't say more, but these are some of my favorite pictures. I kind of love the one of the Virgin and the drinking fountain, taken at San Xavier Mission.
